I 100% agree, I flush my system after every usage, however it's still good practice to inspect metal fittings on a softwash system at least once a year to make sure no corrosion has built up.

How long does it stay like that is the question?

24v. End of the day, there is no comparison to a gas pump by the look of the video. AR45 was definitely putting out more water than the 24v. But at the end of the day, 24v, I'd imagine, is a lot less expensive to repair.
